Going to slow down a little now, and build up slowly, should be able to do long distances again soon.
I am going to have to work on my stroke technique as well, it’s completely gone. The fact that I am gasping and unfit means that I can’t breathe properly yet, but we’ll get there.

Also, on a public service note: in a swimming pool with 2 clearly marked and signed swimming lanes, it is NOT ok for you to sit in the middle of one of the aforementioned swimming lanes with your sprogs and play around – for 45 sodding minutes! There’s an entire half of the damn pool set aside for you!
Bloody hell, I don’t know. I maybe need to become a bit of a bastard and start saying something, but I just don’t want the aggro from these people.

Back in the Gym again
Took the plunge (literally) and joined the Gym in the Tower *sneeze* Hotel again. €320 for 6 months – this makes the third *sneeze* (possibly 4th) attempt at joining the gym I’ve made, and I think I went maybe 12 *sneeze* times in total over those three attempts, so it was mighty bloody expensive.
